Stardust Overdrive is the next scheduled expansion pack to be released for the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. It will be unleashed in the United Kingdom on November 17th 2009, and will consists of 100 cards. The make-up of cards should be: 8 x Secret, 10 x Ultimate/Ultra, 14 x Super, 20 x Rare and 48 x Common and of course 1 x Ghost extra card.This will be followed in early 2010 by Absolute Powerforce, and then Shining Darkness later in the year.
So far exceeding 500 models, Axis and Allies is one of the better World War 2 Collectable Model strategy games on the market. Each expansion pack deals with a different aspect of the 2nd World War, from war on the oceans, to the Russian-German conflict, to the deserts of Africa. Each expansion pack can be played on it's own to test your abilities to strategise against your opponent.
Published by Panini and released in October 2009, Alien Armies is a the new Dr Who Trading Card Game set to replace Battles in Time. Released in similar fashion to Battles In Time, a magazine series will accompany the release, giving hints, tips, guides and suggestions for gameplay, as well as including several cards each issue. The Card Game will initially consist of 260 cards, which will include standard, Glitter Foil, Super Foil and Embossed versions. I'll have more information on the cards in a few days time.Booster packs will contain 6 cards.
Pokemon expansion pack Platinum: Arceus will be released in the United Kingdom on 4th November 2009. This will further enhance gameplay from the earlier Platinum expansion packs of Supreme Victors and Rising Rivals.
The latest expansion block for Magic: The Gathering has recently been released, The Zendikar Cycle. Zendikar is the first expansion pack from the block, which will be followed by Worldwake in February 2010 and a final pack in May 2010. Previous to this was the release of the 3 part Shards of Alara Cycle, consisting of Shards of Alara,Conflux and Alara Reborn.

Based on the new version of Dr Who, this trading Card game was published in 2006 by GE Fabbri. There have been 6 packs released so far, each one based on the BBC TV series.
The original pack was called Exterminator and consisted of 275 cards. The characters and situations were based on the first 2 series of the TV show, and the Christmas Invasion. The next pack was called Annihilator, contained 100 cards and covered other characters and situations from the first two series, as well as including "The Runaway Bride".Daleks vs Cybermen was a very small release, consisting of just 18 cards. Invader deals with the 3rd series and has 225 card, while Ultimate Monsters features characters and situations seen in the original series, as well a few new ones from the 3rd series and the episode "Voyage of the Damned".The latest release is Devastator contains 250 cards and deals with the 4th TV series.
A very brief run down on the Pokemon Card Game. The original Pokemon Trading Card Game was manufactured by Wizards of the Coast until the license went to Pokemon USA, Inc. Under Wizards of the coast 16 different packs were released, spanning 2 Generations of game play.Generation 1: The base set was released in December 1998 and consisted of 102 cards. This was followed by 2 expansion packs; Jungle and Fossil. Base Set 2 appeared in January 2000 and was primaraly a reprint of certain cards from Base Set 1 and Jungle. The next sets from Generation1 were Team Rocket, Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge.
October 2000 saw the release of Generation 2, and the Neo Genesis expansion pack. Neo Discovery followed in July 2001, and this was followed by Southern islands, Neo Revelation, Neo Density and Legendary Collection. The 14th pack to be released was Expedition Base and remains the largest single expansion pack, with 165 cards. Aquapolis appeared in January 2003 and finally Skyridge in May 2003. Skyridge was the last pack made by Wizards of the Coast.
The 3rd Generation all have EX in their title. Ex-Ruby and Sapphire, Ex Sandstorm and Ex Dragon were all released in 2003, while Ex Team Magma Vs Team Aqua was released in March 2004. This pack brought back a style of gameplay not seen since Gym Challenge; namely owners Pokemon. Ex Hidden Legends, EX Fire Red and Leaf Green, Ex Team Rocket Returns, EX Deoxys, EX Emerald, EX Unseen Forces, EX Delta Species, EX Legend Maker and EX Holon Phantoms were then followed by the 30th Expansion pack, EX Crystal Guardians. Ex Dragon Frontiers and EX Power Keepers were the final 2 packs released under the Third Generation.
The Forth Generation was released in May 2007 with the release of Diamond and Pearl. There are 6 further expansion packs within the Diamond and Pearl banner, those being Mysterious Treasure, Secret Wonders, Great Encounters, Majestic Dawn, Legends Awakened and Stormfront. D&P was followed by the current Platinum line which consists of Platinum, Platinum: Rising Rivals, Platinum: Supreme Victors and the forthcoming release Platinum: Arceus.
